The Glenfarclas 105, which is a 10 year old high strength Glenfarclas, is one of the greatest everyday whiskies. If any criticism could be levelled at it, it might be that it doesn't have an enough ageing. So Glenfarclas have created this limited release twenty year old to satisfy that demand.

Tasting Note
Nose: Massive Christmas cake notes with flesh dried fruits and demerara sugar.

Palate: Surprisingly smooth and sweet for a 60%abv whisky with delicious notes of chocolate and spice with fruit and Cognac flavours emerging with the addition of water.

Finish: The finish is long, no doubt thanks to the additional ageing, with typical winter spice notes.

Overall: A great high strength and aged Glenfarclas, this is a fascinating progression from the standard bottling.
